The students who are admitted in affiliated engineering colleges under Non-Resident Indian (NRI) / Children of Indian Workers in Gulf countries (CIWGC) / Foreign Nationals (FN) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO) categories have to get Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from the "Centre for Students Affairs, Anna University". The application form for getting Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) will be issued by "Centre for Student Affairs, Anna University, Chennai". The candidates, who have been admitted in UG/PG degree courses under NRI/CIWGC/FN/PIO category, can submit the duly filled application form along with the required supporting documents through the Principal/Head of the Institution.

The candidates who completed Higher Secondary Course (other than CBSE / Tamilnadu State Board) have to submit the Equivalency certificate obtained from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi or from the District Education Officer (for UG) / The Director, Academic Course, Anna University, Chennai -25 (for PG). In case of grading, lower bound of the mark ranges of a grade should be taken for calculating the percentage of marks.

  • AICTE approval copy for admitting students under NRI /CIWGC category
  • Mark sheet of qualifying examination (Provisional/Degree Certificate for PG)
  • Transfer certificate / Migration certificate
  • Sponsor's passport
  • Sponsorship Letter
  • NRI certificate of the sponsor issued by the Indian embassy of the respective country
  • Employer's Certificate of the Sponsor
  • Non Resident External account (NRE) statement of the Sponsor for a period of last six months.
  • Relationship Certificate between the NRI sponsor and the applicant

  • AICTE approval copy for admitting students under FN/PIO
  • Mark sheet of qualifying examination (Provisional/Degree Certificate for PG)
  • Transfer certificate / Migration certificate
  • Candidate’s valid passport
  • Candidate’s valid visa / PIO card
  • Citizenship card for Nepal and Bhutan candidates
  • Refugee card/NOC from Police administration/certificate from Tahsildar (if applicable)
  • Equivalence certificate in original

Collection of RRA Fees

The Centre for Student Affairs, Anna University receives the admission approval orders from the Directorate of Technical Education, who have been admitted in the First year degree courses in all the Govt./Govt.Aided/Self Financing Engineering colleges affiliated to Anna University.
