The collaborative Anna University - Ryerson University Urban Energy Centre (AU-RU UEC) is focused on energy. UEC's collaboration with academics, industries and public sector units will succeed by relating research to entrepreneurship, risk and innovation, via a multidisciplinary approach that taps the boundless enthusiasm and skills of faculty and students of Anna University in India and Ryerson University in Canada. This approach will move research results beyond traditional academic research, into the industrial realm, while responding to the societal interest.
