STUDENT’S ASSOCIATION

The institution facilitates the operations of a Student Association, which has been an intricate part of our students' campus life. The elected office bearers govern the activities of the association. It is made sure there are representatives from both the undergraduate and postgraduate students of the institution.

The Student Association is governed by democratically elected student representatives. Students of the previous council conduct the election under the guidance of the Student Advisor every academic year. The process starts with the collection of nominations for various posts, scrutiny, and acceptance of nominations, announcement of election dates, conduct of elections receiving votes, counting of votes, and announcement of elected candidates. Consciously, each post is reserved for specific batches of both undergraduate and postgraduate students so as to get representatives from all the students of the institution.

The association acts as a platform for the students to connect across batches within the institution as well as outside, building relationships and skills beyond academics. The association's activities include many cultural events such as Fresher's Day, Cul-de-sap, Farewell, etc, as well as other student support workshops, and expert lectures.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND STUDENTS ACTIVITIES

Environment club is handled by the student association of the campus. Environment secretary, a part of the association heads the club. The intention of the club is to promote environmental awareness, sustainability, and eco-friendly practices on campus. Importance of the resources available to us and mindful utilization of these resources is focused upon through various activities. Activities like discussions about the environment and sustainability help students be more aware about their surroundings. Recycling initiatives where students can directly impact their surrounding environment are carried out mainly during cultural events enabling the transformation of waste into new products.The club provides students with an opportunity to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts and create a positive impact on the planet. It fosters a sense of responsibility and encourages a sustainable lifestyle that extends beyond the college years.

OTHER STUDENT BODIES

The institution also supports the Students in undertaking activities related to National Student Bodies – National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA) & Organisation of Students of Planning (NOSPlan), Both of which are national-level student organisation. These activities include participation and conduct of national-level competitions, conventions, events, symposiums, etc. This connects our students to the national body of students of architecture.
