University – Industry Interaction is a prevailing feature of all programmes in Anna University. The rapid strides that the Indian economy has taken since the 80’s and the challenges thrown open by the liberalization process initiated in the 90’s have necessitated consciousness on QUALITY in every sphere, be it, Education, Production, Service or Whatever.The need for orientation of QUALITY CLUTURE was increasingly felt in the context of changed economic environment which aimed at globalisation of the economy.

In globalisation the House of TVS is a classic example for us to be proud of. Underlying their success is their philosophy of commitment to Quality, Services , Reliability, Punctuality and Ethics which made their name become synonymous with Quality.

AU and TVS group of companies have been working hand in hand on several University – Industry Collaborative Service by synchronising their objectives towards societal development and transformation. In this process and in the above context emerged the need to establish an exclusive centre for Quality Management. Thus, Anna University and TVS group of companies jointly established a Reference Centre for Quality Management in JULY 1995. It aims at having a strong international character to serve as a center of information and training for the benefit of students and employees.
