CUIC acts as the interface between Anna University and its industry partners. Apart from facilitating student placement and internships, CUIC identifies technical domains of mutual interest and facilitates the various collaboration activities such as the establishment of Centre of Excellence, conducting industry sponsored student events such as Hackathons, award of industry supported student scholarships and skill development programs.
It may be noted that Anna University is a State University (established through TN act 30, 1978) and CUIC closely works with its industrial partners towards the implementation of their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives at Anna university, viz., award of student scholarships / Ph.D. fellowships, organizing Skill Development programs etc.
