Creative composites

This consultancy was completed by Dr. D. Sangeetha (Director) as the Principal Consultant, with contributions from Dr. S. Suganya Devi (AP & Adj. Faculty) and Er. G. S. Viswanath (PoP), ensuring the project's objectives were met with expertise. The analysis was conducted using ANSYS workbench 2021 version, on a tower made of glass fiber reinforced composite material. The results of simulation exhibited the acceptable levels of deformation and stress under the applied uniformly distributed load. The maximum deformation was found to be well within the safety limits and the equivalent stress value remain within the safe operting limits of the chosen material thus confirming the structural integrity of each stage of the desulphurization tower based on the input specification and date pertaining to the characteristics of the material used as provided by the firm.
