As the Director of the Centre for Composite Materials (CCM) at Anna University's CEG Campus, I am honoured to lead an innovative and dedicated team that serves the multifaceted needs of industries and institutions in the field of composite materials. Our work at CCM spans across critical sectors such as transportation, civil and mechanical structures, energy, and health, with a strong focus on advancing polymer composites.
With over 14 completed government-funded projects, 5 completed consultancy works, and 5 granted Indian patents to my name, my journey in the field of materials science and polymer chemistry has been driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my contributions to science and technology. Notably, I was honoured with the Active Researcher Award for Polymer Chemistry by Anna University. My commitment to academic and research excellence was further acknowledged the Centre for Sponsored Research and Consultancy, Anna University for having published more than 100 research papers in Scopus indexed journals. In addition, I have been recognized globally as one of the Top 2% Scientists in the World for four consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023) by Stanford University and Elsevier. My work continues to focus on fostering innovation, enhancing the technological landscape, and contributing to society through impactful research.
