Guessing and Predicting

Guessing and predicting are the traditional ways used for answering
a multiple choice question. In the book ARCO-GRE by Thomas H. Matinson
it is stated that "When you don't know the meaning of an antonym, don't
waste a lot of time trying it out. In other words, once you are out of
ammunition, just click a random guess, confirm it, and move on to the
	next item.

To guess one requires the basic ability to define the meaning of the
capitalized word for which the antonym has to be found. So in the first
stage of guessing- if one fails to find the meaning- predicting is used
to find the correct antonym. For predicting we need not know the meaning
	of the word.
