Spatial thinking is one of the most important skills that students can develop as they learn geography, Earth, and environmental sciences. It also deepens and gives a more complete understanding of history and is linked to success in math and science. Young students also enhance their language skills as they collaborate and communicate about spatial relationships. Students who develop robust spatial thinking skills will be at an advantage in our increasingly global and technological society.
The forum will be conducted on 6th and 7th October -2022, where forum participants will be offered the opportunity to share their views with geospatial activists and present their Youth Declaration.
This forum is open for students by Institute of Remote sensing, Anna university, chennai where young professionals between the ages of 18 and 25, are interested in geoinformatics and development-related issues and want to contribute to shaping the world that their generation will be at the helm of in 2022.
SPACE HUNT
“EVER PLAYED A TREASURE HUNT TO SOLVE A CROSSWORD PUZZLE? A FUN
YET INFORMATIVE SESSION”
Round 1:
Five clues will be given for each question and each clue will be displayed for 30 seconds one
at a time per team
Round 2:
Each team will be given directions to unlock the words in the crossword puzzle by using
clue cards
Clues will be hidden in different locations which have the solutions for the crossword.
