Anna University, Chennai established on 4th September 1978 by the Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1978 offers higher education in Engineering, Technology and Allied sciences relevant to the current and future needs of the society. The MBA program in Anna University was started in the year 1981. To tap the potential of Tourism Industry DOMS added Tourism Management Programme in the year 2014. Ever since its inception, the Department of Management Studies (DOMS) has produced about 800 capable, competent and committed professionals. The spirit of pragmatic enquiry and in-depth analysis of the dynamics of business has continued to this day. The programs are designed to bring out and nurture the leadership and organizing skills of the future managers. To address the need of sharpening India Inc’s competitive edge through better Logistics and Supply Chain practices, CII Institute of Logistics (CII-IL) was established in 2004 by the Confederation of Indian Industry as a Center of Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain located at Block B, 9th Floor, IIT Madras Research Park, Kanagam Road, Taramani, Chennai 600 113.

CII-IL creates a platform for the Industry to gain more insights into the emerging trends, industry specific problems of national importance and global best practices in logistics & supply chain management. CII-IL also enables the industry to cut down the transaction cost, increase efficiency, enhance profitability, sensitize and enable to bring solutions to macro level issues.
